The Lakeland Barbershop Chorus is 20 years old and still going strong. They have a continuing tradition of providing barbershop harmony and family entertainment to the Northwoods during the holiday season as well as throughout the year. Their annual show will be held August 25 at the Campanile Center for the Performing Arts in Minocqua. Members of the chorus raise their voices in song every Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. all year long at the Lakeland Senior Center in Woodruff, commuting from Manitowisch Waters, Mercer, Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Hazelhurst, and Park Falls.
They are actively seeking more men with singing ability and music and uniforms are provided with membership in the Barbershop Harmony Society, formerly S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.
